For Veterinarians
You’re busy keeping pets healthy and happy, and we’ve been busy supporting you since 2000 by creating premium products for cats and dogs, where every science-backed ingredient has a purpose.
AAFCO FEEDING TRIALS
While we’ve always formulated our diets by AAFCO standards, we know you’re comfortable when the pets in your care are eating food that’s been through an AAFCO feeding trial. We’re committed to having each of our foods go through one – yet because we perform them ethically it takes time.
Our dog foods that have completed a trial or received a family designation are:
- Small & Medium Breed Puppy
- Large Breed Puppy
- All Life Stage
- Lamb Meal & Brown Rice Recipe
- Adult Weight Loss
VALIDATED BY RIGOROUS TESTING
TRIALS MEET OR EXCEED AAFCO FEEDING STANDARDS.
- All trials met or exceeded AAFCO guidelines for protocol, duration, and assessment metrics
- All trials were conducted in a respected third-party US testing facility, which regularly performs feeding trials for the pet food industry
- Each formula passed on its initial trial
- No harmful experiments or invasive procedures are conducted at the facility – the only discomfort dogs may have experienced was a quick blood draw or a dental cleaning
- We’ve demonstrated real-world nutritional efficacy through third-party standardized testing and delivered excellent results
BLOODWORK RESULTS THAT EXCEED AAFCO GUIDELINES
Healthy levels of albumin, hemoglobin, and hematocrit help indicate proper organ function, oxygen delivery, hydration, and overall nutritional status.
- Albumin (g/dL) scores exceeded AAFCO guidelines by 29% on average
- Hemoglobin (g/dL) scores exceeded AAFCO guidelines by 41% on average
- Hematocrit (%) scores exceeded AAFCO guidelines by 50% on average
AAFCO TRIALS RESULTED IN NEAR PERFECT STOOL QUALITY
Our trials consistently delivered stool scores of 3.41 (well-formed, sticky) which is a clear sign of good digestive health.
STRONG DIGESTIVE PERFORMANCE
Our AAFCO feeding trials exceeded AAFCO guidelines, delivering an average caloric digestibility score of 91%.
IF THE DOG OR CAT IS DOING WELL ON LIFE’S ABUNDANCE FOOD,
WE STRONGLY URGE YOU NOT TO SWITCH THEIR DIET.
Dietary consistency plays a vital role in maintaining digestive health and nutritional stability.
